Some thoughts!

Although I take the days as they come, I am a bit of a thinker.
I wonder a lot about why we Swedes
have such a hard time being social.

Apart from having alcohol in our body, we become very social.
Then we can talk, smile, laugh and hug each other.

Can people only open their shells if they are affected by alcohol.
We Swedes are unsocial in that way.

We put gates to our garden to show that this is my limit.
I do not belong to these people,
I agree with most people I meet in life.

I hug rather than shake hands.
Smiling at someone we meet is something we all need.

The feeling when someone smiles back happily is wonderful.
Why is it so difficult to do?
You don't have to talk just smile.

You don't have to be friends just be nice and smile.
You probably think it is not so easy to smile if you are not feeling well.

Maybe not, but try it is good for self-esteem.
I still remember a special moment
and I've probably written about it before.

There was an elderly lady walking past me in the park,
where I was sitting on a bench.
She looked so sad and I smiled at her and said hello.

She smiles surprised back and continues to walk.
After a while she turns around and she is still smiling.
It was something that warmed my heart
to make someone smile and that person continue to smile.

It doesn't take much to feel good.
I enjoy meeting new people.
It enriches your life and gives you experience,

and understanding of other people.
I have a language friend from Syria and I have learned so much.

I have tried so much food that I had never tried otherwise.
I don't think I've met anyone who wants as much as him.

He fights all the time and I've got an amazing friend.
People from many other countries are very open and social.

So from tomorrow I think we should all
smile at the first person we meet and say hello or good morning.
I promise it will feel good.
You will be surprised at how it spreads to others.

You can make someone happy and smile all day.
That will be all for today.
Wishing you all a good day / evening wherever you are in the world.

Love and Hugs for you all / Ann
