Operation over!

Yesterday I was finally operated, it was a long hard day.
At seven in the morning I was installed on the surgeon's department,
I had to switch to these beautiful hospital clothes.
Then they put a needle in my arm.
At eight o'clock I went down to the mammography
for them to put threads into what they found, I call it steel wire.
When I got there I had to wait thirty minutes
because as usual when I arrive the machine will not work properly.
When I got in, they stuck me in this damned X-ray machine,
where I sat until the clock was ten.
This was done in the same way as when they took samples.
A thin steel wire with fishing hooks at the end for it to not slip out.
When this was done I went on to another place
where they injected radioactive substance at the nipple.
This means that they see the glands in the armhole
and other things better at the operation.
About half eleven I was back on the care room.
The nurse said that it will probably take a while
before I could get to the operation,
but after fifteen minutes she came in
and said that now they had called so I would go down to surgery.
I finally thought it was over,
but I should have learned about now
that nothing that has to do with me should go smoothly.
When I got there, I found out that the surgery before me
was still not finished yet.
So I had to wait for about forty minutes,
then an anesthetist came and talked to me,
but the second surgery was still going on.
At half past two, the doctor came
and drew a little around my nipple
because it was apparently so she would go in.
At one o'clock I finally came into the operating room.
They put me on the operating table and connected me with cords to the data to check on me.
I got oxygen mask and said
that now you get anesthesia in your arm so slep well.
I lay and looked at the ceiling
and thought this long time it has never taken before
I did not even become foggy in the eyes.
I saw that the staff started to look strange at me and the screen,
then it turned out that the needle they put on the surgeon
had stopped working no wonder that it was hurting in my arm
Now they put a new needle in the other arm,
they said slep well and think of something nice.
The operation took about an hour and a half.
At half past five I felt so good at the awakening that I was
allowed to go back to my room at the surgeon.
And I talk to the doctor and now we will wait
for the final results of what they took out, if I need more treatment.
I knew that if you feel good you can go home the same day,
so at home I will no matter what pain I have.
I went out into the corridor to
go to the toilet, stood and looked out, took out the cellphone
and told my family that I felt good.
Then they came in with coffee, sandwich and something to drink
( but sadly it was no wine ) ha, ha
I can not in words describe how good it was with coffee.
I had to keep the food in my stomach, so half seven I went home.
Why are you always more energetic as long as you stay in the hospital. Once you are at home,
it feels like a steam engine has run over you.
But I was positive for now it was done.
I went to bed to sleep
but then my life told me that this should not be that easy.
Lying on the right side did not go,
but my sleeping side is left so no problem.
Oh NO! Forget it Ann.
It was the left arm that the needle did not work
but it injected things into the arm anyway.
My upper arm feels like I lift weights for 24 hours.
So it has not been much sleep in the night,
pain and not sleeping have their price
if I have been in the hospital they could have
given me medicine to sleep on.
But who has said that life should be easy.
I must not lift heavily and my left arm does not want to be involved.
So my question is WHY must everything
be so high up when you need it.
But as I said, I fix it by being positive,
even if you have to be a little down sometimes.
Now I have a breast that is even smaller than before,
and a nipple almost out in the armhole.
I have said before that I will be completely open
when it comes to everything,
so even when it comes to pictures
because I am not ashamed of my body.
So for those of you who do not think it is okay,
do not continue to scroll down.
Now I will take some painkillers and see if I can sleep a little.
So I wish you a continued good day / evening
wherever you are in the world.
And above all, don't forget to live.

Love and Hugs for you all / Ann
